Based on his comments during a recent interview, it’s probably safe to say that even if Ace Frehley had been invited along on the KISS farewell tour, he probably would have been bored on stage.

The former co-founding guitarist took issue with the band’s setlist on this final run, feeling fans aren’t getting their money’s worth.

“They announced they were doing the End Of The Road tour, and that it was gonna be bigger and better than anything they’ve ever done in the past, and they gave the impression that maybe me and Peter (Criss / drums) might be involved. Then they just come out and pretty much do the same set they’ve been doing for years,” says Space Ace.

Even though he wasn’t included, Frehley is fine with the decision, admitting, “I’m having a lot of fun as a solo artist.”
