The Last Blockbuster!
It’s one step closer to the end of an era. The two Blockbuster stores left in Alaska will now be closing.
On Monday the stores, one in Anchorage and one in Fairbanks, will stop renting and start selling inventory through August. But after that, they’ll be gone, which means there will only be one more Blockbuster in the US. If you want to take a stroll down memory lane, you’ll have to go to Bend, Oregon, home of the last Blockbuster remaining… for now.
