Veterans Day Massachusetts deals are here!

Well, tomorrow is November 11, known as Veterans Day.

The day that honors all members that serve or served,  in the Military. The day was originally created by President Calvin Coolidge, and made into law in 1938.

5 Things We Did Not Know

According to the Department of Defense:

  1. It’s a day for honoring all veterans — so no apostrophe needed.
  2. This day honors living Veterans, not to be confused with Memorial Day, which honors the deceased.
  3. It was originally called Armistice Day, commemorating the end of World War I.
  4. Other countries celebrate it, too, in their own ways.
  5. Before November 11, it had a different date

My Dad, who passed away this month in 2002, loved Veterans Day. Each year, we’d take a ride to DD’s and get his free donut. Today, if you see a Veteran, you’ll make their day by thanking them for their service.

Well, with all of this stats stuff, I am now hungry! Lets look some great Veterans Day Massachusetts deals!
