You know, when I sit down to watch a holiday movie, I expect to feel good, not burst into hysterics questioning my life choices.

But here we are.

I've been tricked into watching these movies, ready for a jolly good time. And then I'm puffy-faced and sad.

So why do we watch sad movies at Christmas?
