Taylor Meets Travis Mom: Did She Get The Thumbs Up?

Taylor Swift Travis Kelce, are this past weekends NFL stars. If you haven't looked at your phone you've missed the biggest non football, football story this week. (Sorry Patrick Mahomes. How's your ankle?)

On April 8, 2023 after SIX years together, it was reported that Taylor Swift broke up with her long time boyfriend, actor Joe Alwyn. Flash forward to September 24, 2023, there seems to be a Fall romance brewing. In a first VERY BIG public viewing, Taylor Swift was spotted at the Kansas City Chiefs game. She was there to cheer on her new BF, Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce. 

What makes this even more special, is that Taylor was sitting next to the mother of Travis, Donna Kelce, in the players family suite.

When Taylor Swift makes a public appearance, it's a Beatle-esque national event. So much so, Travis alerted the teams star quarterback Patrick Mahomes that another star was attending the game. According to People.com:

Mahomes told reporters that Kelce, told him “at the last minute” that Swift would be in attendance, at Arrowhead Stadium.

If the Chiefs beating the Bears, 41-10 wasn't enough, the end of the game, was just the beginning of the exciting night. To continue the night, Travis rented out a restaurant. According to Sports Illustrated:

Swift, Kelce and their guests celebrated at Prime Social Rooftop with a late-night dinner and festivities that lasted until nearly 2 a.m. Monday, according to Entertainment Tonight. While enjoying their food, ET reported that the couple enjoyed cocktails and were “very affectionate” despite keeping things “lighthearted” in their interaction.

Mom WAS invited, so it had to stay lighthearted, didn't it?

Well we wish the couple the best of luck.

If Taylor is Olivia, that means Travis has to learn how to dance like Travolta?
