Friday's Mega Millions Jackpot is already estimated to be over 1.3 Billion Dollars! That's an unfathomable amount of money to think about, but it does make me think about places I can finally visit in style.

Here's my top 6 in no particular order.

Montana

My wife and I are big fans of the show Yellowstone which takes place in Big Sky Country of Montana. I have never really ridden a horse but I think it's never too late to saddle up and perhaps have my wife the same way looks at Rip in his chaps.

Normandy, France

I think everyone who has the chance see Normandy should put it on their bucket list of places to visit.  It would be awesome to see where D-Day took place and so many fellow Americans gave their all for our enduring freedoms

Sicily

When I was in the US Navy in the 80's I visited Palermo, Sicily and it was nothing like it is today. We are watching the Golden Globe winner for best Mini Series, White Lotus and Sicily looks incredible, in fact, we would have to stay in the hotel featured in the show because it is Stunning!

Ireland

My wife  Carolyn comes from good Irish stock and has never visited the land of her heritage and I haven't either. It looks gorgeous with all it's lush greenery and rolling hills, plus the people seem fun and I would love to pop into some nice old fashioned pubs for a hearty Guinness beer or three.

Bangkok

I  have to put an Asian location on the list because the furthest west we have ever been was Hawaii, which is great but I would love to go further west and into a big exotic city like Bangkok to see if the 80's tune was right about one night in the city. Maybe we could have 2 or more nights there to see it all.

Switzerland

Something about Switzerland is appealing to me, maybe it's because it seems so far away and secluded in the Alps or maybe it's just the wonderful chocolate that they are famous for. Either way it would be wonderful to experience Switzerland in either Summer or Winter, I'm neutral about when to go. Haha

Bob is a native New Englander, growing up (sorta) in Maine where his love for radio started at a young age. While in high school he hosted radio shows on a local radio station, and he has never looked back. Bob joined the US Navy and served onboard the Sixth Fleet Flagship as a radio and TV host. After serving for 3 years, it was off to Emerson College in Boston. Bob hosted shows in Boston on WMEX, WVBF and WSSH in the 80’s and 90’s before heading to radio stations in Raleigh, NC, Manchester, NH, and New York City. Bob has been married for almost 25 years to Carolyn, a Woburn gal and they have 3 daughters, Nicole, Taylor, and Bridget. Bob and Carolyn are proud first-time grandparents to baby Caroline, who they plan to spoil every chance they get! “I started my career in New England and could not be happier to come back to Boston where I can root for all the Boston sports teams and eat lots of lobster rolls and clam chowder (okay not lots)… It is an honor to host the WROR morning show with LBF and wake up the World’s Greatest City!” Bob writes about recipes and restaurants, pop culture and trending topics.
