They had only ONE job. If there's one place you DO NOT want to fail when it comes to spelling, it's in a school zone! This one is big as one Massachusetts town misspells SHCOOL. Yes, that's how they spelled school, on the road, in the lovely quaint town of Holden Massachusetts.

Holden truly is a great town and a great place to live. They even have their own electric grid, which helps control electric costs. So one must ask, HOW can they misspell SCHOOL, in a school zone?

The lead story all over this past weekend shared the funny story of how the Department of Public works misspelled school while painting in a school zone. According to Yahoo news:
The Town of Holden said the word, a warning about the reduced speed limit outside Mountview Middle School, was painted about two weeks ago and contractors have been unable to correct it due to the recent weather conditions.
Officials in a Massachusetts town said "SCHOOL" was supposed to have been painted on the road outside a middle school, but the word was accidentally misspelled as "SHCOOL."
But oddly enough, our little quaint town of Holden is not the first to make national news with famous misspells! My crack research team, (ah, that's me) scoured the globe to find the very same misspelling, from far and away lands!
