FOUND! Massachusetts BEST OUTDOOR bars for Spring! Let’s go POLLEN! We need SPRING SO BAD, I’ll deal with a little sneezing. Now that Spring is here, Boston is the GREATEST city in America for OUTDOOR, nighttime fun!

The Choices Are Endless

From the Seaport, to the Back Bay, Copley, The North End, when the temps rise, so does our nighttime fun.  I figure, we’d look at YELP, first, to see what YOU are saying for the best OUTDOOR bars for Spring!

When I first moved to Boston, for the second time, I worked in Brighton. A bunch of co-workers were headed out on a Friday after work, and kindly invited me to join them. I was the new guy, so it was a great way to end the long week, in a new job. It was right around this time of year, where we all needed that change of season, season. We all met at a place called Devlin’s in Brighton. It was amazing. They had a HUGE outdoor patio, with giant heaters. So even though it was little cool, it wasn’t. The service, food and atmosphere, was FIVE star. Plus it was OUTDOORS, quiet, and comfortable, to eat, talk and meet. It became my go-to outdoor spot.

So, it’s Spring! Let’s go find Massachusetts BEST OUTDOOR Bars!

  • Reelhouse-Marina Bay

If I had a choice, I’d live on boats. So ANYTHING Marina Bay, I’m IN. I got married on a beach, and the reception was a smaller, Rhode Island version of this place.

“Great food, even better drinks! My friend and I went to Reelhouse for dinner this weekend, and it was incredible. We loved the drinks — we got the Lava Flow which is basically a strawberry piña colada. Then for dinner, I ordered a burger with a side salad. The burger was great, and the waitress was very knowledgeable about food allergies (which is a huge plus and not always the case). The side salad was phenomenal — I rarely ever say that, but truly great. My friend loved the lobster roll.

Overall, highly recommend it! The ambiance really sets the place over as a must-visit in the Marina Bay area.”

  • Lookout Rooftop Bar-Envoy Hotel Boston

Boston, daytime, or night time, views, can’t go wrong!

“The best thing about Lookout is the atmosphere, killer views of the harbor and a laidback clubby vibe. Service is good too. Our wait service was split amongst many women so that we were never ignored.”

  • Lamplighter Brewing-284 Broadway Cambridge,

We are a Cambridge-based brewery with two taproom locations in the city. Our original “Broadway” taproom is located in the heart of Cambridge – steps from Central Square, Harvard, and MIT. Here, we brew a variety of aroma-packed and flavor-driven beers, with an emphasis on New England.

I’m sure they have a nice outdoor area. That hot dog looked too great to pass up.

  • Waterclub-Quincy Marina Bay

Nothin better than boats, beer, and…….(I need a b word for food….barbeque?)

WATERCLUB features superior drinks guaranteed to excite your taste buds and elevate your spirit. Listen or dance to the best live entertainment while enjoying our food menu, which perfectly complements our cold beer and spirit selection.

  • The Bowery Bar-Boston-Dorchester Ave-Boston

    Can we go right now?

The Bowery is a restaurant, bar & patio located in historic Lower Mills neighborhood of Dorchester.

“I LOVE this place. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone. I’ve gone for both breakfast and lunch but not for dinner yet. I’ve tried the breakfast sammie–so so yummy. My favorite dishes to get are the Crab Ragoon Dip, Sweet Potato Fries and the Cobb Salad.”

  • The Sky Lounge & Rooftop Terrace-Seaport Boston

Nice view. Great place for pics, but ask her boyfriend, first.

The Sky Lounge is on the 12th Floor of the hotel and runs the whole length of the building with stunning views of the city and the river through the cityscape looking East. The bar and lounge area lead onto a stunning landscaped outdoor terrace that opens up to a 270 degree panoramic view of the river and the city beyond, you can even see the historic area of Fort Point behind the hotel. The twinkling lights above the space make it a perfect location for a sundown cocktail such as our famous Cabin Cooler or two against an instagrammable backdrop for the perfect pic – rare in Boston to get such an amazing view.

With a name like The View, it made #2.

    Established in 2009.
