A website called Get Windstream conducted a national poll by state. Most of these names are familiar, in OUR NIGHTMARES.
Interesting Stats
According to Get Windstream:
The American Psycho himself, Patrick Bateman, was the most searched villain, winning the top spot in 19 states.
Candyman was a villain that was nowhere near our list in 2021. However, given that Jordan Peele’s Candyman released last year and rated a whopping 84% on Rotten Tomatoes, we’re not surprised that this villain is showing up after saying his name a few times this year. In total, 12 states searched for the creepy slasher the most.
I'm NOT a scary movie dude. I cover my eyes watching JAWS. Oddly, I can make it through Game of Thrones and Stranger Things. The stuff that gets me is the JUMP-out-at-you horror movie.
But, somehow I can deal with the Jurassic Park movies. THAT kind of jump out, I can handle. I don't know why?
