Sorry Tropical Storm Ophelia! Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks beat the rain at Gillette Saturday night!!
Even Billy Joel needed an umbrella Saturday night at Gillette, when he joined his special guest, Fleetwood Mac's Steve Nicks. But a little rain didn't stop this iconic, dynamic duo.
It was special moment when Billy joined Stevie on stage to sing the duet, Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, this song made famous with Stevie's long time friend, Tom Petty.
It's rare that we get the chance to see TWO bucket-list stars on one stage at the same time, on the same night. The show is actually called Two Icons-One Night. It's reported that Stevie will do a total of 9 shows with Billy Joel.
Covid-19
A Covid-19 illness in Stevie's band resulted in 3 postponed and 3 canceled shows back in April for the Fleetwood Mac artist.
But we are happy to report that Stevie arrived healthy and happy Saturday night at Gillette.
