With football driving us crazy, I am CRAVING PIZZA! I love pizza while watching us lose. So I felt it is my mission to find the BEST pizza by city! Maybe it will bring us good luck this Sunday.
Over the weekend Heidi and I hit our FAVORITE pizza joint. You may have heard of it. It's MYSTIC PIZZA! Yes, from the movie! There are two fun locations, one in of course, Mystic, Connecticut, and Mystic Pizza II in North Stonington Connecticut. Our favorite pizza is Hawaiian. Pretty simple BUT DELICIOUS! Plus both locations sell merch from the movie, telling the famous story of how "the day Hollywood came knocking."
Where Does Boston RANK?
I'm not gonna lie. Usually, my favorite pizza joints are outside the city limits. As I mentioned, Mystic Pizza is unreal. Another favorite is on the list you are about to see from Daily Meal.
Add to that, back when I worked in CHICAGO, there was this amazing joint on Rush Street called Pizza Due'. I had NEVER had deep dish pizza like that!! I was told, that THAT place was the inspiration for Pizzeria UNO.
So let's take a deep DISH, I mean DEEP DIVE to find the BEST pizza by city! Where DOES Boston RANK?
Pay CLOSE attention to NUMBER 9! It's nationally known, although I have NOT tried it!! Caution: You maybe urged to eat your screen when you scroll.
