Today is National Video Game Day! Ok it actually was yesterday but who counting. In this world it’s always National Video Game Day! You might think video games are silly and for some they might be. But name me a place you can role play as a character that’s on an adventure trying to save a princess or prince. Or imagine you’re stuck in a room and the only way to get out is to solve a puzzle and obtain a key to exit the stage. Sure, there are some violent video games out there. But let’s be honest there’s way more brain teasing, co-op game strategy games to enjoy with friends.

There are all types of ways now to play video games. You can enjoy them on the big screen with a console gaming system. Like the Nintendo Switch , PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. You also have PC gamers who can spend a pretty penny just to get the right specs. Then you have mobile gamers who play on their IPhones or Androids or even IPads. There’s a lot more for handhelds as well. The popularity of video games has increased over the past few year. Player have now turned to streaming and playing and chatting with followers or fans via YouTube or Twitch. Best part of that is now you can make all while sitting at home and playing a video game.

For years video games have been getting a bad rap. But I swear to you that it’s only a small piece of the video game pie. So, if you love video games like I do (which is a lot) most of the games that will be mentioned here, you might have already played or at least heard about them. But for those who haven’t here’s a few games that have used Boston.

Developer and Publisher Ubisoft has really shined with this entire franchise. The game was released on October 30th 2012. Then again after it was remastered in March of 2019.

This RPG take place directly in Boston. The developer is Cyanide, the publisher is Focus Home Interactive. The game was released October 30th 2018.

  • Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego
