5 Of The Top Places To See Fall Foliage In 2024. We are smack dab in the middle of October so we are just getting fall started. The fall is one of the most beautiful months of the year because of fall foliage. We understand not every state in the United States is lucky enough to experience the leaves changing color but we do know many of you are willing to travel to places that do have them. So this list is for you!

Before we get to the list of top places to see fall foliage in 2024, let’s make it perfectly clear there are definitely time restraints here. Most fall foliage is at its brightest and most pleasing to the eye from mid October to mid November. So if you’re planning on taking a trip, you better do it soon.

  • Acadia National Park in Maine

    This park covers 50,000 acres along the rocky coast of Maine. When you travel here, stay in Bar Harbor and make sure you order a lobster from any one of the nearby restaurants.

  • McKenzie River Scenic Byway, Oregon

    Visit one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beautiful landscapes. It’s 34 miles long and has the most breathtaking views.

  • The Berkshires, Massachusetts

    Located in the western part of Massachusetts, the Berkshires are loaded with miles and miles of gorgeous trees.  Stay at the historic Red Lion Inn if you plan on going. There may be ghosts there.

  • Charlottesville, Virginia

    There are so many things to do here, not just leaf peeping. There are wineries and amazing restaurants.

  • Bucks County, Pennsylvania

    Located in the southern part of PA, Bucks County offers miles and miles of gorgeous fall foliage.
