Lucy's first 6th grade semi-formal dance was last Friday. Of course, being the MOTHER OF THE YEAR, I had no idea it was happening until the Sunday beforehand. With the help of Amazon Prime (we ordered five dresses - one fit) and some last-minute arrangements with friends, it went off without a hitch. She had a blast. I was a nervous wreck. Sounds like a typical parenting experience, right?
