Christmas In The City is a wonderful charity that provides homeless children and their families with a magical Christmas experience! Not only do these children get a gift from Santa Claus that they’ve put on their list, they’re treated to a winter wonderland, a fabulous feast, amusement rides, face painting, celebrity guests and more!!

Last night at the Seaport World Trade Center, New England Patriots star wide receiver Julian Edelman read his new children’s book “Flying High”, about football and a squirrel, to children and generous donors  at the “Christmas In The City Holiday Tree Auction and Toy Drive Kickoff”. He then auctioned off his “Julian Edelman Themed Christmas Tree”. Philanthropists George and Mary Grey, owners of Lexington Toyota, bid an amazing $3,000 for the one-of-a-kind tree, while their son, Sean Grey, bid $1,200 for an autographed David Ortiz baseball.

LBF and Hank joined Julian on-stage and then hosted a live auction, raising thousands of dollars for the organization. One-hundred-percent of donations to Christmas In The City go directly to the children.

Christmas in the City - A non-profit organization bringing Christmas to sheltered and homeless children in Boston.

We do 100% of everything with volunteers - 15-20 managing the mission year-round, and, when we hold our big party, 2,500 for events. Being all-volunteer ensures that 100% of our donations go to those we support. Many volunteers were once kids at the party and come back to give back.
