Did you know families are the fastest growing population of homeless in Massachusetts? In fact the average age of a person who is homeless is 8 years old.
Family Promise Metrowest is an organization doing something about it. Since 2008, their network has grown to include 48 congregations and over 2500 community volunteers working together to make a difference.
On Saturday April 11, Family Promise is holding their annual walkathon to raise funds for the organization. The 5K walk starts from the Natick Common at 8:30 am. It a great event including music, crafts and activities for the family. Join LBF for the fun and be part of the solution to ending family homelessness.
