Meet and take photos with Loren & Wally and local TV news legend Susan Wornick, and Boston Herald columnist and radio host Jaclyn Cashman at Companion Animal Protection Society’s (CAPS) MBTA Ad Campaign Launch Party. The ads, featuring beautiful professional models and cute rescue dogs, will begin to appear on MBTA commuter trains and at 20 stations in early April and are part of CAPS’ Models Against Pet Shops and Puppy Mills campaign. This national ad campaign is designed to educate the public about atrocities in puppy mills and the risks associated with buying dogs at pet shops supplied by these facilities.
The event will also feature the opportunity to meet and take pictures with CAPS Spokesmodel Beatrice, the Basset Hound puppy mill survivor and canine star of the ad campaign. Attendees can also enjoy free cocktails & hors d’oeuvres, complimentary gift bags, a silent auction, and a raffle for valuable gift baskets while learning more about CAPS and Models Against Pet Shops and Puppy Mills.
Advanced tickets are $25 per ticket, $30 at the door, and can be purchased by calling 339-309-0272 or by visiting www.caps-web.org and clicking on “Buy Tickets”.
