Interview with Songwriter Bernie Marsden


Bernie Marsden is one of the UK’s foremost rock and blues guitarists, famous for his time in professional bands since 1972 and a founder member of one of the biggest rock bands of all time, the mighty Whitesnake.  

He has played with giants such as Ringo Starr, The Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule, Gary Moore, Robert Plant and Joe Bonamassa.   

In this episode of 100 Years of Radio -100 Years of Hit Makers, we talk with songwriter/guitarist Bernie Marsden to hear stories behind the lyrics and songs he helped create.
