I’m stunned! He was at the top of his game on tv, as an author and foodie.
It all started with an article he wrote in 1999 called, “Don’t Eat Before Reading This”

That article became his book Kitchen Confidential.
This passage from Kitchen Confidential, where Bourdain writes about eating his first oyster as a kid while on vacation in Arcachon, made me cry the first time I read it and has been inked in my brain ever since ❤️ pic.twitter.com/e84nlVmCZ4

He made appearances and had his own TV shows No Reservations to Parts Unknown. He was funny and a joy to watch.
And he LOVED the Cape!
