Boston Marathon weekend energizes the city with numerous activities beyond the racecourse. From a free world-class running expo and live comedy to bachata royalty and a headline arena rock show, you'll have plenty of options to fill the weekend.
Boston Marathon Expo
- What: Bib pickup, Adidas store, and more
- When: Friday, April 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Where: John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center, 900 Boylston St., Boston
- Cost: Free
Enjoy this free, public Bank of America Boston Marathon Expo. This event features bib and packet pickup, an Adidas store, sponsor exhibits, and photo ops. Attend the live stage panels to explore topics such as artificial intelligence in running, elite athlete Q&As, women's running history, and para athletics. The expo takes place three days before the 130th Boston Marathon.
Sherri Shepherd: Make It Make Sense Tour

Sherri Shepherd is a Daytime Emmy-winning comedian, actress, and talk show host whose career spans three decades across television, film, Broadway, and stand-up comedy. She's known for her memorable roles in "30 Rock and Friends," hosting the nationally syndicated talk show "Sherri," co-hosting the podcast "Two Funny Mamas" with Kym Whitley, and recently, co-starring in Tyler Perry's film "Straw." A multiple NAACP Image Award winner, she advocates for inclusivity and the representation of children with special needs. She's also releasing her first children's book, "The Sunshine Queens."
Romeo Santos & Prince Royce: Mejor Tarde Que Nunca Tour 2026

Romeo Santos and Prince Royce, widely regarded as the kings of bachata, perform together for the first time at TD Garden, featuring hits and songs from their joint album "Better Late Than Never," which debuted at No. 1 and No. 2 on Billboard's Tropical Albums and Top Latin Albums charts, respectively. Join them in Boston, one of their stops on their 25-date North American tour from April to late May.
