National Grid is launching a statewide series of Customer Assistance Events this month across Massachusetts to help customers manage energy bills, plan for future usage, and inform them about cost-saving programs.

An informational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, from 3:30–5:30 p.m., at McDevitt Middle School in Waltham, as part of the events, according to the Watertown News.

These events will address winter-to-spring bill management and highlight programs such as the Payment Assistance Bundle, Budget Billing, Energy Discount Rate, home energy assessments, and other energy efficiency opportunities.

Customer service specialists will be on-site at events to assist with program enrollment or direct attendees to resources and online webinars for bill assistance (English and Spanish, with February 2026 recordings available).

LIHEAP (Fuel Assistance) applications will close at the end of April. Eligibility and applications will be available through the Massachusetts Home Energy Assistance Program website or local Fuel Assistance Agencies.

These events are free and are a core part of National Grid's larger commitment to affordability and reliability. Below is a schedule of upcoming Customer Assistance Events held this month:
