Boston Pride For The People (BP4TP), the volunteer-led organization supporting the largest Pride celebration in New England, announced that Boston's 2026 Pride Parade will take place Saturday, June 6. The Pride celebration will be the largest in New England for the fourth year running, featuring an all-ages concert and festival on Boston Common following the parade.
This year's event will occur a week earlier than usual to align with World Cup activities in Boston the following weekend.
“As the nation marks its 250th birthday, this year's Pride Parade and Festival takes on special significance for the LGBTQIA+ community as we take stock of the incredible progress we have made while also acknowledging the long road ahead of us,” said Adrianna Boulin, BP4TP president, in a statement shared with NBC10 Boston.
The parade will begin in Copley Square and make its way through the South End and Back Bay, wrapping up at Boston Common, where an all-ages concert and festival will take place.
According to organizers, last year's Pride parade and festivals attracted an estimated 1 million attendees. Approximately 15,000 people marched from Copley Square to Boston Common in the parade.
BP4TP is encouraging the community to submit ideas for this year's theme online. Individuals and organizations interested in sponsoring this year's celebration can contact festival organizers by email. BP4TP encourages interested volunteers to sign up on the parade's website.
