First Watch opened its first Boston location at 777 Boylston St. on Wednesday, Jan. 7. The restaurant operates daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
First Watch's Boston opening follows a Hanover location that launched in January 2025, making it the restaurant's second in Massachusetts.
According to a MassLive report, the seasonal menu rotates about five times a year, with winter offerings like the B.E.C. Sandwich and Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast. First Watch features Project Sunrise coffee, obtained from women coffee farmers in South America. It also runs a fresh juice program with in-house daily juices that vary by season, including Morning Meditation, Kale Tonic, and Purple Haze.
Made-to-order dishes are prepared in a kitchen without heat lamps, microwaves, or deep fryers. Signature menu items include Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Million Dollar Bacon.
Founded in 1983 in Pacific Grove, California, First Watch later moved its headquarters to Bradenton, Florida, and is now based in Sarasota.
