A rapidly growing café chain is planning to open a new Boston-area location.

The Boston Restaurant Talk blog has reported that Pressed Café is expanding, with a new Dedham location joining its network of Boston-area spots in Back Bay and Seaport. The café also has locations in Burlington, Chelmsford, Lawrence, Newton, and a new one in Woburn, as well as four in New Hampshire. Another new establishment is also being planned for Beverly.

An Atlantic Retail page reveals that the café will take over the former TGI Friday's space at 750 Providence Highway near Dedham Plaza.

According to What Now Boston, Pressed Café, founded by Miri and Roi Shpindler, operates a fast-casual, all-day menu with Mediterranean-inspired bowls, burgers, panini, soups, smoothies, fresh-pressed juices, coffee, and more for dine-in, takeout, and catering.

An opening timeline for the Dedham Pressed Café has not yet been determined. When it launches, however, the restaurant will join several establishments in and around Dedham Plaza, including Panera, The Halal Guys, and Kelly's Roast Beef.

Visit the Pressed Café website for updates on openings and future development plans.
