Lynn Tech Alumni Association to Host 11th Annual Festival of Trees

The Lynn Tech Alumni Association will host the 11th annual Festival of Trees at the Lynn Tech Tigers Den, running from Sunday, Nov. 16, through Saturday, Nov. 22. Viewing hours will be from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov. 22; 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, and Tuesday, Nov. 18; and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Wednesday, Nov. 19, through Friday, Nov. 21. Admission is $5.

Decorated trees with wrapped presents, created by community members, will be raffled off for collection on Sunday, Nov. 23, from noon to 3 p.m. Raffle tickets are $5 for 25 tickets. Funds raised from the raffle will benefit the Lynn Tech Alumni Association for scholarship funds, tools, and athletic equipment for students.

“This is the event that gives them the tools for their dreams. It's fun, but it's also a fundraiser,” said Judith Josephs, Alumni Association Board member and former Lynn Tech school counselor and co-op director, in a statement shared with Itemlive.com. “We have an enormous community interest in the start of the Christmas season. The spirit of Christmas comes with this Festival of Trees for our North Shore area.”

The event will also include live music, refreshments available for purchase, and a visit from Santa and Buddy the Elf for the children.
