The Bay State welcomed two new members to Forbes' 2025 billionaire rankings, while U.S. billionaires reached a record high of 902. Globally, 3,000 people now hold an incredible $16.1 trillion in wealth.

Leading the pack is Abigail Johnson, who heads Fidelity with a net worth of $32.7 billion. Her enormous wealth stems from owning nearly a third of FMR, which manages $5 trillion for clients worldwide.

Following Johnson, Edward Johnson IV boasts $13.1 billion in wealth. Close behind, Elizabeth Johnson sits at $11.1 billion.

Two new additions, Stephen Fredette and Bill Cummings, brought Massachusetts' billionaire count to 11.

The New Balance brand puts Jim Davis and his family at $6.4 billion. NFL owner Robert Kraft sits at $6 billion, while Granite's leader Robert Hale Jr. built up $5.8 billion.

Former cable tycoon Amos Hostetter Jr., worth $3.8 billion, now dedicates his time to philanthropy.

The Alfond brothers, Ted and Bill, made their money with Dexter Shoe Company before putting it into Fenway Sports Group.

Tech entrepreneurs complete the list - Alan Trefler of Pegasystems and Phillip Ragon of InterSystems turned their software into billions.

America still leads in global billionaire numbers. This year brought 103 new American billionaires as the wealth gap grew to record levels.
