DM Disaster: Old Man Beef

Today’s DM Disaster is Old Man Beef, Jamie DM’d us a wild story about how a simple favor for his girlfriend’s grandfather completely tanked his standing with her family. He’s been dating his girlfriend for about eight months, loves her, loves her family, but thanks to Grandpa, they cannot stand him now.

Jamie was just hanging out one afternoon at his girlfriend’s house, Grandpa asked if he could give him a ride to visit his late wife’s grave. It seemed like a sweet request, so he agreed. On the way, Grandpa casually asked to make a quick stop. No big deal, right? He punched the address into his GPS, pulled up to a house, and assumed it was just a friend’s place.

That’s when things got weird. Grandpa wrapped his hands with a t-shirt, knocked on the door, and the moment an old dude answered. BAM! They started brawling. Bob and LBF were shocked. Did he jump in to help? Nope. No need. Apparently, it was the slowest, sloppiest old man fight imaginable. No real punches landed, just a lot of shoving and very intense name-calling. After a few choice words, Grandpa strutted back to the car like nothing happened, and they drove off.

When Jamie and Grandpa got back, his girlfriend’s entire family was waiting furious. Turns out, Grandpa had beef with this guy for years because he used to hit on his wife. The family was livid that he let Grandpa go through with it, but Jamie and Grandpa are closer than ever now.
