Who doesn’t enjoy a delicious prime rib a wedding? Other than having to wait on the buffet line for your chance to get some of this delicious food course. Weddings can sometimes have up to 200 guests or more. That’s a lot of people to get through a buffet line.

When that line features excellent foods, such as prime rib, then for some people, it becomes very hard to wait for a long time. It takes a while to carve up the prime rib, because each slice is cut individually. That’s the thing with prime rib, you want to see it carved in front of you. Which makes your mouth water even more.

For some people, the thought of prime rib might get them a bit too excited. Such is the case of a very Hangry wedding guest, who lost his patience recently.

The guest happens to be 52-year-old man named Mark Roher who attended a wedding at a country club in Florida last Saturday, and was waiting in line for some prime rib.

Primed for a fight!

What set Mr Roher off was when a man in front of him allowed his young daughter and another girl to join him in line . . . and Mark went a bit crazy when another gentleman in front of him let his daughter and her friend cut in line.

Mark started shouting at the other man, who ignored him . . . but he didn't stop there.  He walked over to the man and hit him on the head with a plate.  The plate shattered . . . and that started a scuffle with multiple guests.

Someone called the police, and Mark was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

This is amusing:  In the police report, one witness confirmed that they saw, quote, "the large, bald man strike the slimmer man on the head [with a plate]."  (Here's Mark's mugshot.)

For the record, this was a DRY wedding . . . so Mark wasn't drunk, he was just REALLY excited about the prime rib.

This incident which happened to take place in Florida like so many wacky stories do that we talk about on the morning show, forced a conversation for us. We try to determine what is the appropriate amount of people you should let cut in front of other people to join you in line.

The majority opinion was that you shouldn’t allow more than three people to cut in line in front of others. Let’s say you are with your family of four, that means you +3 and even that is hard for people to take. Anything more than that, you better watch out because there are more people like Mark out there.

you could say the most dangerous place to be is between a hungry man and his prime rib.
