This DM Disaster is Rustic Getaway, Melissa is furious with her husband after he went out and booked an Airbnb without telling her, he was just trying to surprise Heather with a romantic getaway, everything was going great until they showed up, turned out the place was an absolute dumpster fire! Which then turned into a massive disaster!
Turns out the place was completely rundown, and not the Rustic Getaway she had in mind, the place smelt, her husband also used a 3rd party app so they couldn’t even get the money back. They tried to stick it out, but it was too much for Melissa and she made a big stink about it, now her husband isn’t allowed to book anything at all without her permission, that’s Melissa’s DM Disaster. Bob thought Melissa was missing a great opportunity to see nature, unplug and just relax in the woods, LBF was all for Melissa cutting it short.
A listener called in with a great story. It was about her husband booking a treehouse Airbnb, it was at least 5 hours away from where they lived, and when they got to the place it turned out to be a treehouse that looked to be built by a teenager. Another listener called in to say their husband did the same thing and the place had no beds or bathroom, just a roof to keep dry and an outhouse. Plus a few other stories you won’t want to miss.
