The legendary band Chicago will play shows across 36 U.S. cities next year. On August 2, they’ll take the stage at Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston. Fans can get tickets when they go on sale January 17 at 10 a.m.
Their extensive tour runs through Nashville’s music scene, comes to Port Chester, and heads to Atlantic City. Shows in Uncasville, Columbus, and Grand Rapids fill out the schedule. The band sets up at Las Vegas’s Venetian Theatre for several shows through February and March.
With incredible talent and longevity, Chicago has sent 21 songs to the top 10 and grabbed 11 number-one hits. Their catalog spans 38 albums, selling over 100 million copies worldwide – with 25 reaching platinum status.
Since forming in 1967, they’ve won two Grammys and a special Lifetime Achievement Award. They’ve also earned two American Music Awards, plus recognition as Founding Artists at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
They remain the only U.S. rock band to chart top 40 albums across six consecutive decades. Their sound blends elements of pop, rock, and jazz to create their signature style.
Their success shows in their 48 gold and platinum awards. They’ve earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 2016 were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
