Airbnb Offers A Beetlejuice-Beetlejuice Experience
Whether you are a fan of the original Beetlejuice or the recent sequel, you might want to head over to Airbnb and book it soon because with Halloween season upon us.
When the movie came out back in the late 1980’s it was so different than anything previous to it. It wasn’t a horror film, it wasn’t gruesome or bloody and scary, it was a comedy fantasy movie more than anything else.
Tim Burton went on to direct a litany of other now classic films such as Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd and a dozen more. Just Google his list of films and you will be amazed by his incredible array of movies.
Beetljuice is now an American classic that has become part of must see Halloween movies. Its light touch and oddly sentimental theme is a great break from the other bloody movies from Halloween to Nightmare on Elm Street.
Beetljuice house for rent
Airbnb announced a three-hour “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” experience in New Jersey. The two-story Deetz home was recreated and fans can visit the attic with the town model, and also the Afterlife Waiting Room.
Airbnb’s latest addition to their Icons program is the Deetz home from “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”. You know, the white two-story house shrouded in black.
Fans can request to book one of 10 available dates for free. Sadly, it’s not an overnight stay. The experience is only three hours long and it’s located in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
It’s hosted by Delia Deetz from the Afterlife. Her sculptures and paintings are displayed throughout the home, and you can visit the attic to see a recreation of the Maitland’s model of the town.
If you say Beetlejuice’s name three times, you’ll find yourself in the Afterlife where you can visit the Waiting Room. There will also be an art class taught by Delia’s assistant.
