Why do people really want to believe that Big Foot exists?

The first supposed picture of Big Foot was taken in 1967, it is probably the one that you are most familiar with. It shows a large creature strolling through the forest and glancing over at the photographer. Big Foot is swinging its arms as it walks it looks as though he isn’t that concerned with having his picture taken.

That was all it took to get the hype train going on Big Foot, after that movies and documentaries were rolling out with all kinds of theories. TV shows like in search of hosted by Leonard Nimoy back in the 1970s also hyped the big foot phenomenons.
