Going to the movie theater. These days is a whole lot different than it used to be. For one thing your tears relax you the point where staying awake might be an issue. At the same time they might keep you awake by their vibration synchronized to what’s happening on the screen. sure it’s more of an event now than ever but theater etiquette is still something that should be considered

Some big movies are out this month, including the new "Joker" sequel this weekend.  So here's a quick reminder on theater etiquette.  Someone had etiquette experts list the top movie etiquette rules everyone should follow.

Here are the top 6 Theater Etiquette Rules

1.  Arrive on time.  Don't be the person brushing past people to get to your seat 10 minutes in. Nobody likes that person that is making a commotion just as the movie is about to start.

2.  Share the armrests.  Just like airplane seats, you don't get full ownership of both. Don’t be an arm rest hog! There’s room enough for two elbows, even if they occasionally touch.

3.  Don't hold up the snack line.  Figure out what you want before you get to the cashier. Nobody likes to be behind the person that hems and haws about what snack they want to purchase.

4.  Don't save too many seats.  One or two is okay, but one person can't save a whole row.  It’s not fair to people that got to the theater on time to be told that all the seats are taken. These days a lot of movie theaters are having you purchase your seats when you buy your tickets. That makes it less of an issue that I used to be.

5.  Be courteous if you're tall.  If you're six-foot-nine, don't sit front and center.  Or at least slouch down in your seat. This also applies to people with big hats or big hair.

6.  Be Quiet.  Put your phone on mute, and don't talk through the whole thing. it’s one thing to make noise roughly in your popcorn or snack boxes, but constant chitchat is the worst.

These 6 rules are easy to adhere to for most of and will make movie going a better experience for everyone.
