Did This Airplane Passenger Overreact To A Stolen Charger?
A video of two JetBlue passengers arguing about a stolen charger is all over social media. It happened more than a year ago, but the guy it belonged to just posted the footage. He claims their flight got delayed, and the pilot let everyone go back to the terminal for a while. She says it was lying on the floor of the plane when she was one of the last to get off.
She now claims the charger wasn’t plugged in, and she found it on the ground after they were told to take everything with them. She says she even tried to give it to a flight attendant, but they wouldn’t take it. (She gave it back.)
For both of these people now they are dealing with instant, Note-oriety and judgment on both sides. Some people think she is a criminal and should be treated as such while others think he overreacted by shaming her and then putting the video up on social media for the whole world to see.
Take a look at the incident here
When you take it at the video doesn’t occur to you that the so-called victim is over reacting just a tad bit? You would’ve thought that she had stolen his wallet or at the very least his phone right out of his pocket. He could have approached her a bit more calmly, and let her know that perhaps she didn’t realize that it was his charger that he had left on the plane. Instead, he came in real hot right at the beginning and it became a much larger incident then it needed to be.
In these days of everything being captured on video through everything from surveillance cameras, two cameras in your house, and of course your trusty smart phone. I would suggest that you assume everything is being filmed. And that includes whether or not you are the victim or the person that assumed that the power charger was up for grabs. Now they are both getting there 15 minutes of fame or is it shame?
