USA Today readers have spoken. They have claimed their favorites, and low and behold a Massachusetts water park has been named one of the best in the country! The publication recently compiled a list of the 10 best indoor water parks to enjoy in any kind of weather.
This Massachusetts Water Park Stands Out
Congratulations to Great Wolf Lodge, a Massachusetts family tradition for 10 years now. Great Wolf Lodge Resorts is a chain of indoor water parks in this country and Canada. But, locally, Fitchburg is home to this award-winning attraction. USA Today pointed out the “the resorts’ water parks include indoor and seasonal outdoor activities such as tube rides, wave pools, waterslides, hot tubs, and surfing simulators.”
What’s great about Great Wolf Lodge is that no matter what the weather outside, it’s always 84 degrees inside and there is so much to do year round.. Of course there are the water slides, towers and pools, and even an obstacle course where you jump on lily pads to get across. But there’s also an “immersive MagiQuest adventure game, restaurants, an arcade, climbing wall, mini golf, and more,” as reported in Boston.com
Known as “North America’s largest family indoor water park resorts,” Great Wolf Lodge first opened in Massachusetts in 2014. And there is soon to be another New England location, coming in 2025 next to Foxwoods Resorts.
