Boston: Night Shift Brewing Has 3 Beer Gardens, Here’s Where
At this point of the early spring season we are eager to get outside and stay outside. Night Shift Brewing has made that a little bit easier in Boston, opening up three different beer gardens.
If you are going to or have been frequenting the Bruins and Celtics playoff games, there’s a chance you have already visited Night Shift’s primary location. Their flagship restaurant and brewery is located at 1 Lovejoy Wharf. It includes an indoor space attached to the brewing area and a large outdoor patio with views of the Zakim Bridge and Boston Harbor.
“Dive into a diverse selection of on-tap and to-go beverages, complemented by our seasonally curated menu featuring the acclaimed Detroit-style pizzas that have earned us our fame,” Night Shift says.
In addition, Night Shift has a popular taproom in Everett. This is located at 87 Santilli Hwy. The Everett taproom is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday, however.
Here Are Night Shift Brewing Beer Garden Locations
Each of them is in and around Boston and will remain open until the early fall. They are located at:
- Night Shift Esplanade – by the Hatch Shell along the Charles River
- Night Shift Allston – at Herter Park along the Charles River
- Night Shift on The Greenway – by South Station in Dewey Square
“Each beer garden offers an exceptional guest experience, with a variety of beers, hard seltzers, and wines, as well as non-alc options and snacks. We also aim to have a food truck on-site each day that we are open,” Night Shift explains.
It’s important to note that each beer garden is closed on Monday and Tuesday and is open Wednesday through Sunday. You can check their hours of operation here.
As for what’s on tap at the Night Shift Beer Garden, most do have a selection from their “hoppy core.” This includes the Whirlpool hazy pale ale and Santilli American IPA.
Special brews released from Night Shift this season include the Bruins and Celtics-themed Garden Party pilsner cans. Then, a coffee-driven porter called Awake will remain on special through the spring.
Lastly, Night Shift has announced a few special beers fans can look forward to seeing on tap this summer. They include the Shandy Beach summer shandy and Wild Blue blueberry ale. The Dunkel Johns and Pumpkin Piescraper are then slated for a fall release.
This hometown brew, which began in a kitchen in Somerville and its infamous “hoppy owl” logo, now has created spaces for the local communities to gather, enjoy the warmer weather, and some great beer.
