Best Bosses In Massachusetts? Sullivan Tire Wins
If you’re a boss, like the bosses at Sullivan Tire, you may be happy to hear that you’re doing better, according to your workers. Why is locally owned Sullivan Tire winning best bosses (just my opinion) in Massachusetts? I’m sure there are other great companies that could make this claim as well. Let’s see why!
Are Bosses Doing Better?
A new survey says the bosses doing better. The Pew Research Center found in a new survey that most Americans consider their bosses and supervisors to be good to work under and generally capable and fair.
Add to that, there seems to be a new level of trust and give-back when it comes to the worker-employee relationship. A family member who works for a national, well known insurance company with local offices say, an in office survey says that employees that work from home have proven to be more productive. This metric shows that employees are more trusting that the worker will provide an equally productive workday, as if they were in the office, while working from home.
Sullivan Tire Gives Back
You can’t turn on your TV or radio without seeing New England’s Paul Sullivan selling his great brand, along with our pal, the voice of Jordan Rich on the radio.
What’s truly wonderful, Paul’s company shares the success of Sullivan Tire with his 1500 employees, through a stock sharing program, on TOP of their 401K.
According to WBZ-TV Paul shares his vision:
“1,500 workers at Sullivan Tire who learned a few days ago that the aging brothers who run the tire and auto repair chain had spurned big money in favor of an employee stock ownership plan that effectively hands the company to them.”
Paul says that he and the family have enough money, and having too much money is greed.
On top of Sullivan Tire, AND my bosses at WROR, who are the best bosses in Massachusetts?
