The Super Bowl
Each year, we look forward to the big game for, the GAME, mostly, UNLESS your team isn't there. THEN we watch for the commercials. I will say that last years commercials where especially kind to Massachusetts. Dunkin' was so proud of their Ben Affleck commercial, they must have paid extra to get it on up front, right at the beginning.

The Most Controversial Super Bowl Halftime Show
We'll never forget it. Do you remember that famous wardrobe malfunction. (NOW, in the Webster's Dictionary). It was broadcast LIVE on February 1, 2004 from Houston Texas on CBS. Justin Timberlake, joined Janet Jackson on stage for a memorable and entertaining halftime show. At the very end of Janet's song performance, Timberlake tore off part of Janet Jacksons' blouse, exposing her right breast. This was seen by 150 million viewers. MTV who produced the halftime show was banned forever from the NFL. The FCC who regulates broadcast indecency, fined CBS and it's affiliates for a reported $550,000. But in 2011, that fine was voided by the Third Circuit Court Of Appeals. It could be one of the most famous television publicity stunts of all time. The FCC reports that they received about 540,000 complaints. But seeing that 150 MILLION were watching, .003 % of the viewers actually filed a complaint.
So, let's take a look back at the TOP Super Bowl halftime shows!

THIS one, I remember! What an entrance!
Maroon 5-2019
While I like Adam and Maroon 5, I thought this one was disappointing.
The Weeknd-2021
The Weeknd spent $7 million from his own pocket to fund this performance. The NFL doesn't pay performers to perform. They DO pay for production costs.
Bruno Mars & The Red Hot Chili Peppers-2014
I remember this one and enjoyed it! Bruno is a fantastic performer and held his own amongst the most memorable performances.
Jennifer Lopez & Shakira-2020
I will reserve comments because children maybe reading this.
U-2-2002

The NFL or Bono will not allow us to share this video. But he was great.

Another one that the NFL won't allow us to share. But the Cowboys defeated the Buffalo Bills 52-17. We can't show that either.
Prince-2007
He left us just 9 years later. The one and only Prince with a wonderful performance we won't forget.
