Kelly Clarkson sings what she really feels about her ex!
Wow. Kelly Clarkson sings what she really feels about her Ex! Kelly held nothing back when she changed the lyrics to a song by Gayle, that really spells out how she feels about he ex husband.
It must have felt good to belt out what is really on your mind following a brutal divorce and settlement with he now ex husband Brandon Blackstock.
Bitter, not sweet divorce
According to Hello magazine, one of the points of most contention was their dispute over Kelly’s ranch in Montana, which Brandon reportedly moved out of after a lengthy legal battle back in June of 2022.
The former couple’s argument over the ranch, which the singer is listed as sole owner of, began when her ex-husband revealed he wanted to leave the entertainment industry and become a full-time rancher.
Kelly has to pay Mr. Blackstock a lot of money
While the legal disputes between the two have seemingly been resolved, Kelly still has to pay $115,000 each month in spousal support until January 2024.
Brandon also receives $45,601 a month in child support, even though the singer has primary custody of their two children and he only has one weekend a month to spend with them.
Kelly has always sang from the heart
She has always sang songs from the heart and never been afraid to wear her emotions on her sleeve and belting out her hurt feelings with her booming voice. That is one of the reasons she along with Carrie Underwood are the two most successful American Idol alums. They both hold nothing back. For Carrie Underwood her biggest hit was “Before He Cheats” which is a warning to anyone she dated that she has a baseball bat and isn’t afraid to us it.
What happens in Vegas
Kelly Clarkson kicked off her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino’s Bakkt Theater over the weekend with a message to her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, and a warning to her fans.
After first covering Gayle’s “ABCDEFU” in March on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 41-year-old singer performed the cover again with her telling lyric change.
She also noted that lately concert goers have been throwing things at performers, Kelly had a different take on that idea saying, “Whatever you do, don’t throw it at me, people. If you’re gonna throw s**t, throw diamonds.”
