A nice place for our stuff

After inheriting a small John Deere riding lawn mower when my wife's father passed away four years ago I have been needing a small shed to keep it and the usual tools that have been hanging around in various places in the garage.

I knew I wanted a Reeds Ferry Shed, because they are the best and as they say, "if you got a Reeds Ferry Shed, you got a good one!"

We toured the huge "show room" Reeds Ferry has  in Hudson, New Hampshire and couldn't believe how many shapes and sizes their sheds come in. I'm talking all sizes, some big enough to by small homes, with covered porches, ceiling fans and pretty window boxes.

All I needed was an 8x10 ft. shed for Deere old John

I thought I would share some pics and a bit about the process of prepping the area for the shed and how it amazed I was with the crew as they completed the construction of the shed in just under three hours.

the shed plot

I dug out a 10x12 foot section of my backyard for the shed to sit. That's a yard of 3/4inch gravel to keep the shed from settling in lopsided down the road.

pre fabricated wall with door

The front double door already sided and ready to go

the base flooring is prefabricated

Connor is getting ready to make sure the base floor is squared up

window wall

The first wall (with nice double windows) goes up first. This too comes already to go with windows and siding

Front door is up

That's Jacob checking out his work after the front double door went up

after the walls

The interior view after all four walls and roof is up, going to have lots of room for John Deere and a few of his friends (tools etc)

roofing

Jacob hard at work putting up the roofing shingles, he was fast but very accurate with his work. Side note, the compression hammer is a heck of a time saver!

finished job

Here it sits! The finished work is so great! Now all I have to do is paint the floor this weekend.

RF crew

Thanks to the crew! Tyler, Connor and Jacob! They did a great job!
