Steven Tyler Calls Chris Robinson in Funny Clip for Aerosmith’s Farewell Tour
BREAKING: WCVB is reporting that the Aerosmith tour postponement INCLUDED the Boston show at the TD Garden, New Years Eve. Check back here for updates and rescheduled dates as we get them.
Steven Tyler doesn’t seem sold on calling Aerosmith's farewell tour “Peace Out!”. So, what’s a frontman to do? Apparently, you call another famous frontman on a special phone and ask his opinion.
This whole dilemma plays out in a new promotional video for Aerosmith’s farewell tour. In the video below, a golden-winged phone is dropped at the doorstep belonging to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson.
He answers the phone, and Tyler is on the other end of the line going on and on about different tour name ideas. Some of those ideas include the following: Wings Across America, Trial and Terror, Aero-Swiss Family Robinson and The Donkey’s Grundle.
Eventually, the Demon of Screamin’ says, “I need to hear you come up with a few! There’s a f-cking writers’ strike! You expect me to come up with all of these on my own?!”
The Black Crowes are joining Aerosmith on their farewell tour as special guests. The tour kicks off on September 2 in Philadelphia and is currently set to end on January, 26, 2024 in Montreal.
