My wife Carolyn doesn’t get to see a lot of movies at the theaters because we don’t really want to see many of the same releases.
I prefer action, thrillers and comedies, my favorite movie this past year was the insanely action packed Bullet Train with Brad Pitt. I kind of talked her into seeing it based on him, but she figured out very quickly that Mr. Pitt had no time for romance in this flick.
I caught her watching the clock on more than one occasion.
Her favorite movie this was 80 For Brady, she went with her sister and mom, I wasn’t invited.
What my wife loves about the Oscars is the pre-game show or the Red Carpet.
I asked her to put together her list of what she considered to be the best dressed of the night.
Here’s her list in no particular order
Her dress was a stunning color, age appropriate, gives a nod to her upcoming “Little Mermaid debut” Adorable!
Jamie Lee Curtis-
She made the perfect choice for a national treasure. Classy, understated, didn’t overtake her, yet shined as bright as she did!
My most controversial pick. I was obsessed with this look. Almost had a Victorian quality, but with her edgy style and youth. The peekaboo shorts were her in a nutshell! Color was ethereal!
I mean, the most perfect shade of purple and she looked like a true movie star! She may not have won the Oscar, but she won the runway.
It’s the Oscar’s, bring your A game! A baby pink velvet blazer, Tailored to “The Rock” perfection, made him a standout amongst the endless sea of black tuxedos.
Lady in Red, but make it steal the show.! You couldn’t help but stop and stare at this vision in red. Leg pop was the only accessory this dress needed.
Her personality shined in this glamorous, yet unpretentious gorgeous watermelon pink gown. Her joyful response to Jamie Lee winning, only confirmed she is one of Hollywood’s new sweethearts.
