Listen to this INSANE Collaboration: Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Sing Jolene with Dolly Parton
If you watch anything today, it has to be this insane collaboration at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Dolly Parton.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony was held this past weekend and airs on HBO and HBO Max Nov. 19. But you can see a taste of the amazing performances right here on TikTok.
Dolly Parton is the GOAT.
“I guess I’m a rock star now,” Parton, 76, said after accepting the honor, joining Lionel Richie, Duran Duran, Eminem, Judas Priest, Pat Benatar, Carly Simon and the Eurythmics in the current class.
Parton – who had originally asked the Rock Hall to withdraw her nomination because she felt she hadn’t earned it – leaned into the award Saturday.
She changed into into a black leather rocker ensemble to perform an electric guitar number she had written especially for the event, according to USA Today.

Dolly even revealed a new song for the occasion.
“Since I’m going to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I’m going to write a song for it,” said Parton, according to USA Today. “Any of you rock stars going to help me out on that because I’m going to hold you to it.”
P!nk and Brandi Carlisle sang with Parton on “Coat of Many Colors.”
Sheryl Crow and Zac Brown Band joined in to sing “9 to 5”.
The grand finale featuring every inductee (minus Eminem) for a whopping rendition of “Jolene.”
“We’ve got a star studded stage up here, don’t we?” she said during the event.
The ceremony took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
