Massachusetts 16 Year Old Missing, Possibly Taken By Adult Male

Colleen Weaver, a 16-year-old junior at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School, was lured away from her home in Raynham last Tuesday night.

Colleen may have left her home to meet an older male who was posing as a teenage boy online, according to a GoFundMe page.

Weaver's mother, Kristen, told the Brockton Enterprise that Monday was a normal day.

"Nothing was out of the ordinary," Kristen Weaver said.

She last saw her daughter in the hallway of her home around 1 a.m. She discovered Colleen was missing when she went to her room to get her ready for school around 6 a.m.

The Raynham Police Department posted the news of her disappearance and have requested the public's help in locating the missing teen.

Weaver's mother told the Enterprise, she believes her daughter was talking to someone on social media who was pretending to be something they're not.

"Our kids aren't allowed to have electronics in their room at night, but in the morning we found her brother's computer in her room," she said.

When Kristen Weaver searched the computer history, they found out that Colleen visited social media sites. They also found directions to her house and 24 hour gas stations in the area.

"As if she was planning to send them to someone," she told the Enterprise.

The family doesn't think Colleen left voluntarily.

"She didn't take anything with her. She has no money, no extra clothes, no phone. Nothing that would indicate she ran away," Weaver said, adding Colleen doesn't have a personal phone.

Colleen also has developmental delays and some mental health issues. She is more susceptible to being coerced or manipulated, according to her mother.

"We think she was talking to someone on social media who picked her up and took her somewhere."

Colleen is about 5 feet and 120 pounds and has reddish pink hair.

Contact the Raynham Police Department at 508-824-2717 if you have any more information.

Meanwhile, the family started a GoFundMe account to help in the search:
