Julia, the HBO series about the life of Cambridge's own Julia Child, is filming in Brookline this week.

And we know where!

If you don't know about Julia Child, you obviously don't own an oven.

OR A SOUL.

The iconic chef, cookbook author and tv personality transformed the way Americans cook and eat. Julia Child's brilliance filled bellies and hearts.

Julia Child has been the subject of countless books and films.

Do you remember "Julie and Julia", the Norah-Ephron-directed film starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams?

The real star of that movie is Stanley Tucci as Julia Child's husband, Paul Child.

I mean, come on with this scene:

Now there's "Julia" on HBO

HBO's series "Julia" stars Sarah Lancashire (Las Tango in Halifax) as Julia Child, David Hyde Pierce (Frasier) as Paul Child and Bebe Neuwirth (Cheers) as Julia's best friend Avis Devoto.

It's a joy to watch, especially for Bostonians. Boston, Brookline and Cambridge landmarks are in every scene.

You're constantly saying "Hey, I know that place!" while you're watching.

Hey, if you want to eat like Julia, here's your chance. (But act fast. It's tomorrow night.)

Also, here's a story about the time I bought the MOST EXPENSIVE BREAD at one of Julia Child's favorite shops in Cambridge:

LBF has most of Julia Child's cookbooks, but has yet to make a meal from one.

Lauren Beckham Falcone is the co-host of Bob & LBF in the Morning.
