Online Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Do you see recipes online, copy them and think “I’m gonna make this one day!”.
Yea, me too!
Well, here’s one I actually made! And nobody’s more surprised than I that these few ingredients made a cookie that actually tastes good!
I wasn’t sure they’d hold together because there’s no egg in the recipe so I made the first batch and decided if they didn’t hold together, I’d add an egg. But they did and they’re really good and good for you (more or less!).
“Gail Wiebers Healthy Cookies”
Here’s how you make them:
preheat oven to 350
3 ripe mashed bananas (I used 2 large)
1/3 cup applesauce (I used unsweetened)
2 cups oats (I used whole oats)
1/4 cup almond milk (I used unsweetened vanilla)
1 cup good chocolate chunks (I used semi sweet chips)
1/4 cup raisins or nuts (I used golden raisins, but next time I might grind up some nuts in my food processor because I’m not really a fan of chunks of nuts in cookies…well, maybe macadamia nuts.)
1 teas vanilla
1 teas cinnamon (next time I’m gonna use a bit more cinnamon)
Bake for 15 – 20 minutes (I baked for 18 mins)
Ta Da!
