“Dexter” is returning for a new 10-episode limited series and filming is currently underway in western Massachusetts.

The television crew was seen on Friday in Whately, according to Western Mass News. The equipment, trucks, cones, and signs were all set up around Whately Diner. Before making it’s way to the small town, it filmed in various other Franklin County locations. Since Whately is a typically quiet area, you can imagine the buzz this caused around town!

“I saw all of the snow and I was like ‘Whoa, why are they, it’s snowing? They’re making Christmas?’ I was just shocked that it was all there and I was like ‘Whoa, they’re shooting a huge show in our town? That’s weird,’” said Alexandra Holloway of Whately speaking with Western Mass News.

“Dexter” airs on Showtime. The cable network previously announced that it will debut sometime this fall. See photos from the set below!
