Reality television has an upside…..
While we can make an argument that music competition shows can get old, (well I make that argument at home with Heidi) sometimes you get a surprise.
Last nights The Voice caught my eye, when an older contestant told the audience that he had a past with judge Blake Shelton. Singer Pete Mroz unveiled the fact that he and Blake played in the same band together when they were much younger, under a different name. At first Blake didn’t recognize Pete, until he shared the name he used in the band back in the day.
It was a great moment that got even better when Pete chose Blake to be his mentor. See the memorable moment for yourself and listen to Pete sing. To me he sounds like Paul Simon.
