At first, I was like: Lighten Up, Taylor! A Netflix show used the singer/songwriter’s dating history as a punch line.

Swifties came for the show and then Taylor weighed in:

She’s got a point. Who cares about her past dating life at this point? She’s an accomplished artist, not a joke. Maybe we can learn a little something from our previous history of maligning strong, independent women and just come up with better references.
