A career site recently did some research using Google Trends to find out what the biggest pet peeves were in each state.
We here in New England have a varied list.
In Massachusetts and Rhode Island, burping was the biggest.
Maine and Vermont said that slow internet speeds up in Northern New England were the most bothersome.
New Hampshire hates public displays of affection.
And if you’re heading toward Connecticut, don’t bother being boastful, bragging is at the top of that state’s list of annoyances.
